Aesthetic medicine treatments: how to enhance beauty at every stage of life

January 14, 2025 Linda Ksurgery MED, Treatments 26

When is the right time to start with aesthetic medicine? The answer is not unique and depends on several factors, including individual needs, lifestyle and, of course, age. Caring for the beauty and well-being of the skin is a matter that evolves over time, requiring specific attention and targeted treatments depending on age.
In general, aesthetic medicine offers customized solutions to meet the different needs that arise over time.

At 20-30 years of age: prevention and hydration

At this stage, the skin is young, toned, and free of obvious signs of aging. However, this is precisely the ideal time to begin a path of prevention, laying the foundation for healthy, radiant skin over time. Taking care of the skin at a young age means effectively counteracting future damage caused by environmental factors (sun, pollution), stress, and lifestyle habits, thus slowing down skin aging processes. Recommended treatments in this age group include:

  • Custom Skincare: usingspecific products with vitamin C and hyaluronic acid can help maintain hydrated skin and promote elasticity.
  • Sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher): essential to prevent damage caused by UV rays, the main cause of skin aging.
  • Light Chemical Peels: to gently exfoliate the surface layer of the skin, improving its texture, and radiance and evening out the complexion.
  • Biostimulation: using microinjections of biocompatible substances, skin regeneration is stimulated, supporting the production of new collagen and improving skin radiance, without altering facial volumes.
  • Mesotherapy: cocktails of vitamins, minerals, and hyaluronic acid to improve skin hydration, elasticity, and firmness.

30s to 40s: Correction of Early Wrinkles and Loss of Volume

In this decade, the first signs of aging begin to appear, such as fine wrinkles, loss of radiance, and skin tone. This is the ideal time to intervene with targeted treatments:

  • Advanced Biostimulation: with concentrated formulations for increased collagen and elastin stimulation.
  • Hyaluronic Acid-Based Fillers: to fill in more pronounced wrinkles, such as nasolabial grooves and perioral wrinkles, and to restore lost volume at the cheekbones and lips.
  • Medium Chemical Peels:for a slightly deeper exfoliation, aimed at stimulating cell renewal, improving skin texture, tone, and radiance, while also diminishing superficial blemishes.

At 40-55 years of age: regeneration and redefinition

With full maturity, skin tends to gradually lose elasticity and volume. Treatments need to be more incisive to counteract the signs of aging. The main goal is to counter skin sagging, improve skin quality, and provide deep hydration. Recommended treatments include:

  • Specific Anti-Age Skincare: the use of targeted cosmetics becomes even more important to support professional treatments and maintain results over time.
  • Hyaluronic acid-based Volumizing Fillers: indicated to restore lost volume in strategic areas such as cheekbones, chin, and temples, redefine facial contours, and smooth deeper wrinkles.
  • Biostimulation: preventive treatments aimed at stimulating long-term collagen production, resulting in reduced skin laxity and improved skin firmness and tone.
  • Combined Treatments:  combining different techniques, such as fillers, peels, and biostimulation, can optimize results.

Over the age of 55: maintenance and harmony

Beyond the age of 55, the main goal is not to erase the passing of time but rather to enhance mature and natural beauty while maintaining a fresh and harmonious appearance. At this stage, the skin may show increased loss of elasticity, deeper wrinkles, accentuated skin laxity, discolorations, and decreased hydration. The ideal approach is comprehensive facial harmonization through combined and customized treatments that respect individual features and promote a natural and balanced result.

The recommended treatments for a face over 55 are mainly combination treatments: the combined approach, involving the synergistic use of different techniques is often the most effective strategy to achieve a harmonious and natural result, tailored to the specific needs of each patient, aimed at global harmonization of the face.

Conclusion

Beauty is ageless, but each stage of life requires special attention. Relying on qualified specialists in aesthetic medicine is essential to receive personalized and safe treatments designed to enhance natural beauty and ensure harmonious results over time.

Skin tone and youthfulness: the Ksurgery MED secrets for a diva's body

November 18, 2024 Linda Ksurgery MED, News and Updates, Treatments 29

Outer beauty is not just a matter of aesthetics; it often reflects our inner well-being. Feeling good about one's body is crucial for boosting self-esteem and self-confidence, and toned, glowing, youthful skin plays a key role in this process. Having a “diva body” is not just an aesthetic goal, but a way to feel good and confident, ready to look your best in any situation. Thanks to advances in aesthetic medicine, it is now possible to achieve visibly healthier and younger-looking skin without resorting to invasive procedures. Among the most innovative solutions are skinboosters, injectable treatments based on hyaluronic acid, such as the products in the Ksurgery MED Opéra Skinbooster line.

What Are Skinboosters?

Skinboosters are hyaluronic acid-based injectable treatments whose job is to keep skin hydrated, supple, and toned. Unlike fillers, which are used to volumize and define facial contours, skinboosters work in depth to improve the quality of the skin from within.

Opéra Skinbooster DIVA: the secret to a diva's body

Ksurgery MED Opéra Skinbooster DIVA represents excellence in the field of skinboosters. This highly biocompatible and safe product is distinguished by its specific formulation designed to meet the needs of the areas of the body most prone to sagging and loss of tone, such as the abdomen, inner thighs, arms, and buttocks.

Why choose Opéra Skinbooster DIVA?

  • Deep hydration: The hyaluronic acid in the formulation acts like a sponge, retaining water within the tissues and providing deep, long-lasting hydration.
  • Stimulation of collagen and elastin production: Hyaluronic acid stimulates skin cells to produce new collagen and elastin fibers, which are responsible for skin elasticity and firmness.
  • Filling in micro-wrinkles and stretch marks: Opéra Skinbooster DIVA helps reduce the visibility of micro-wrinkles and stretch marks, giving the skin a smoother, more even appearance.
  • Lifting effect: Thanks to its biostimulating power, it helps improve skin plumpness, giving a natural lifting effect.

The DIVA Protocol: a transformation that starts from the skin

Ksurgery MED has developed the DIVA Protocol, an innovative and personalized treatment that will help patients achieve their goal of a diva-like body. Thanks to targeted injections of Opéra Skinbooster DIVA, this protocol deeply stimulates the tissues, improving tone and firmness, for a more youthful and vital appearance.

The benefits of the DIVA protocol

  • Natural and long-lasting results: The DIVA protocol offers gradual and natural results that are long-lasting.
  • Personalized treatment: Treatment can be tailored to each patient's specific needs.
  • Minimal invasiveness: The treatment is minimally invasive and requires no recovery time.
  • Safety: The product used is a certified medical device.
  • Emotional well-being: Feeling good about one's body leads to an increase in overall well-being, positively affecting mood and quality of life.

Aftercare: the importance of regeneration

To mitigate the signs of sensitized skin and maximize the effectiveness of the DIVA Protocol, Ksurgery MED has developed Opéra MTX-HA2 post-treatment cream. This multi-action cream, enriched with hyaluronic acid and soothing active ingredients, plays a restructuring and elasticizing role, optimizing results and restoring the integrity of the skin's hydrolipidic film.

Opéra MTX-HA2 cream performs several essential actions:

  • It soothes the skin, relieving any irritation or redness caused by injections.
  • It encourages tissue regeneration, promoting optimal recovery.
  • Maintains deep hydration, essential to prolong the toning effect of the treatment and give smooth, soft skin.

Having a diva body is no longer an unattainable dream. Thanks to the DIVA Ksurgery MED protocol, you can regain the beauty and tone of your skin, and with it, a renewed self-confidence. Ksurgery MED is committed to providing high-quality skin care solutions based on 100% made in Italy scientific research and technological innovation.

Complete guide to the safe use of dermal fillers: practical tips for aesthetic medicine professionals

October 21, 2024 Linda Ksurgery MED, Treatments 98
INJECTABLE DERMAL FILLERS

The use of dermal fillers has become a routine procedure in aesthetic medicine, prized for its ability to improve the appearance of the skin without invasive surgery. However, ensuring optimal results and safety requires in-depth anatomical knowledge, precise injection techniques, and constant updating on the latest scientific evidence.

Understanding the composition of fillers

Dermal fillers are injectable formulations, primarily based on hyaluronic acid, used to fill wrinkles, redefine volume, and improve skin texture. The choice of filler depends on several factors, including the area to be treated, the depth of the wrinkles, and the desired result. Hyaluronic acid is one of the most common components due to its moisturizing and volumizing properties. This natural polysaccharide is found in human connective tissues and helps keep the skin supple and hydrated.

Patient preparation

Proper patient preparation is essential to reduce the risks and maximize the benefits of treatment. Here are the key steps:

  • DETAILED MEDICAL HISTORY: gather information about the patient's general health, including allergies, current medications, and previous aesthetic treatments.
  • ASSESSMENT OF EXPECTATIONS: discuss expected outcomes and realistic possibilities with the patient, providing a clear understanding of potential risks and benefits.
  • PHYSICAL EXAMINATION: assess facial structure, and skin quality, and identify specific areas in need of treatment.
  • INFORMED CONSENT: this document certifies that the patient has been adequately informed about the risks, benefits, and alternatives to treatment, and has freely and knowingly given consent.
  • PHOTOGRAPHIC DOCUMENTATION: Pre- and post-treatment photographs are valuable tools for assessing treatment progress, facilitating communication between doctor and patient, and for future comparison purposes. In addition, they can be useful in case of litigation.

Safe injection techniques

Proper injection technique is critical to minimize risks and achieve optimal results. The following practices are recommended:

  • STRICT HYGIENE: ensure the treatment area is properly disinfected and use sterile instruments to prevent infection.
  • APPROPRIATE INJECTION TECHNIQUES: Select the most appropriate injection technique based on the area to be treated, the depth of tissue, and the type of filler used.
  • PRECISE DOSING: Inject controlled amounts of filler to avoid overcorrection and maintain a natural appearance.

Continuing education and professional development

Aesthetic medicine is constantly evolving. Professionals must engage in continuing education to keep short of new techniques, products, and safety protocols. Attending workshops, seminars, and conferences can significantly improve skills and knowledge, helping to provide safer and more effective treatments.

The safe and effective use of dermal fillers requires a combination of anatomical knowledge, technical skills, and attention to detail. Practitioners must adhere to the highest standards of practice to ensure optimal results and maximum patient safety. Staying current with continuing education and following strict safety protocols are key elements for success in this dynamic and growing field.

From tanning to skin regeneration: end-of-summer treatments

September 23, 2024 Linda Ksurgery MED, Treatments 95
From tanning to skin regeneration 3×2

Summer brings with it the allure of sunshine and days spent outdoors, but also several challenges for our skin. Prolonged exposure to UV rays can cause dehydration, sun spots, loss of elasticity, and, in some cases, deeper damage. It is therefore critical to adopt a targeted skin care regimen to address these issues and promote skin regeneration.

Post-summer skin regeneration: why it's important

Tanning, while aesthetically pleasing, is the skin's response to UV damage. When exposed to the sun, skin produces melanin as a defense mechanism, but this process can also lead to several drawbacks. Dehydration is common, as UV rays can compromise the skin's lipid barrier, reducing its ability to retain moisture. In addition, sun exposure accelerates the formation of free radicals, unstable molecules that damage cells and accelerate skin aging. This process called “photoaging” indicates premature skin aging caused precisely by the sun's rays. These, in fact, damage collagen and elastin fibers, which are responsible for skin elasticity and firmness.

How does photoaging manifest itself?

  • WRINKLES AND FINE LINES: Prolonged exposure to the sun accelerates the formation of wrinkles, especially around the eyes and mouth. Collagen and elastin fibers, damaged by UV rays, lose their ability to support the skin, promoting the appearance of fine lines and deeper wrinkles.
  • SUNSPOTS: UV rays stimulate the production of melanin, the pigment that gives color to the skin. This hyperpigmentation is manifested by the appearance of dark spots, especially on the face, décolleté and hands.

  • SKIN LAXITY: Loss of skin elasticity and tone, caused by the breakdown of collagen and elastin fibers, leads to sagging tissues and the appearance of signs of aging such as sagging facial contours and deeper wrinkles.

Post-summer treatments: a necessity for skin health

To regenerate the skin effectively, it is important to use products that promote cell renewal, deeply moisturize, and provide antioxidants to fight free radicals. Treatments should be formulated with active ingredients that can penetrate the skin and stimulate repair and regeneration processes.

OMNIA: the allies for facial skin

The Ksurgery MED OMNIA range consists of a wide range of Meso Cocktails in sterile vials, formulated to effectively combat numerous skin imperfections. These targeted formulations are ideal for treating wrinkles, dryness, skin blemishes, and scars.

Here are some of them:

Mesotech: Regenerating and Revitalizing Power

Ksurgery MED OMNIA Mesotech is a treatment of excellence for mature and stressed skin. With its key active ingredients such as Copper Tripeptide-1, HMW Sodium Hyaluronate, Argireline, and Amino Acids it offers regenerating and revitalizing power. These ingredients work synergistically to stimulate collagen production, improve hydration, reduce wrinkles, and strengthen skin structure. This meso cocktail redensifies the skin and gives it a more youthful and radiant appearance. A must for those who want to regain freshness and tone.

Hyaluchrono: Deep Hydration and Antiaging Effect

Ksurgery MED OMNIA Hyaluchrono harnesses the power of 5 hyaluronic acids and Tetrapeptide-3 to deliver intense hydration and an anti-aging effect. Thanks to hyaluronic acid at different molecular weights, this vial acts in depth, plumping up wrinkles and giving an immediate lifting effect. After a summer of sun and salt, Ksurgery MED OMNIA HYALUCHRONO restores the skin's natural elasticity and softness, preventing premature aging.

BTX Pro: Relaxing Effect and BTX

Ksurgery MED OMNIA BTX Pro combines the effectiveness of key actives such as Argirelline and Hexapeptide-30 to deliver targeted action against wrinkles. BTX PRO is the ideal mix to smooth these wrinkles and relax areas prone to mimicry. Thanks to the special hexapeptide-30 contained within the formula, it simulates blocking muscle contraction in the muscle neurotransmission pathway.

The end of summer is the ideal time to take care of your skin and counteract sun damage. Adopting a targeted care regimen, and using effective products formulated with active, high-performance ingredients, can make a difference in skin regeneration and health. Taking care of one's skin is not only a matter of aesthetics but also of overall health and well-being. Investing in regenerative treatments after the summer means preparing your skin to face the following months with a solid, healthy foundation, preventing premature aging, and maintaining a fresh, glowing appearance.

Nose reshaping fillers: a perfect nose without surgery

August 26, 2024 Linda Ksurgery MED, Treatments 91
Ksurgery_MED_nose_reshaping_filler_M

In the field of aesthetic medicine, dermal fillers are transforming the approach to nose reshaping. Traditionally, anyone wishing to improve the appearance of their nose had to undergo surgical rhinoplasty, an invasive procedure with significant recovery times and associated risks. Today, thanks to advances in dermal fillers, it is possible to achieve a perfect nose without surgery.

Rhinofiller is an aesthetic medicine treatment that uses resorbable and hypoallergenic fillers, such as hyaluronic acid, to modify nasal morphology without surgery. Unlike traditional rhinoplasty, rhinofiller is a reversible and purely aesthetic procedure, and can act in the following ways:

  • Filling: fillers fill depressions and wrinkles in the nose, creating a smoother and more uniform profile.
  • Volumizing: fillers can be used to increase the volume of specific areas of the nose, such as the tip or back, to improve its shape and proportion.
  • Camouflage: fillers can be used to mask imperfections such as nasal hump or post-traumatic defects.

The duration of the treatment is about 20-30 minutes and the results are immediately visible. Unlike traditional rhinoplasty, rhinofiller involves no convalescence and the return to social life is immediate.

What is Opéra II Filler?

Opéra II is an innovative dermal filler, a high-performance product for nose reshaping and other aesthetic applications. Its formulation, based on medium-concentration cross-linked hyaluronic acid, allows natural and long-lasting results, improving the harmony and overall aesthetics of the face.

Advantages of nasal reshaping with fillers

Nose reshaping with Opéra II offers numerous advantages over traditional rhinoplasty:

  • Non-invasive: The treatment is performed on an outpatient basis and does not require general anesthesia.
  • Reduced recovery time: After treatment with fillers, recovery time is minimal. Most people can return to normal daily activities immediately after the procedure.
  • Immediate results: The results of nasal reshaping with fillers are visible immediately after injection. This allows the desired effect to be seen immediately and/or any minor corrections to be made.
  • Reversibility: If necessary, the effect of the filler can be reversible. This offers extra security compared to permanent procedures.
  • Customization: Each treatment can be customized to meet the specific needs of the patient, allowing for highly natural and harmonious results.

How nasal remodeling treatment with fillers works

Treatment with Opéra II begins with a thorough consultation, during which the aesthetic doctor assesses the characteristics of the nose and discusses the patient's goals. Once the treatment plan has been defined, the filler is injected precisely into the areas to be corrected.

Thanks to the versatility and malleability of hyaluronic acid, the doctor can shape the nose to achieve the desired result in various cases, including:

  • Nasal hump: Rhinofiller can be used to reduce or eliminate nasal hump, creating a smoother and more harmonious profile.
  • Gaps and concave profile: The filler can be injected to fill in the gaps and define the profile of the nose, making it more symmetrical and proportionate.
  • Back and nasal tip defects: Rhinofiller can be used to redefine the tip of the nose, lift it, lengthen it, or correct asymmetries.
  • Outcomes of rhinoplasty: Rhinofiller can be used to correct minor defects that have appeared after rhinoplasty surgery.
  • Trauma: Filler can be applied to fill areas of the nose damaged by trauma.

The procedure must be able to improve the frontal as well as the lateral profile of the nose. The rhinofiller will only be effective if it can soften both profiles, ensuring an overall harmonious aesthetic appearance.

Natural results can be achieved with short recovery times. Rhinofiller is performed on an outpatient basis, with the possibility of using an anesthetic cream to minimize pain. To maintain stable results over time, it is advisable to undergo a rhinofiller session every 6-12 months.

A rhinofiller allows the doctor to make precise and customized changes to improve nasal aesthetics, making it an effective and safe solution for aesthetic correction of the nose. However, it is essential to rely on experienced medical specialists to ensure maximum safety and the best possible result. Careful patient selection and the use of high-quality products are essential for satisfactory and long-lasting results.

From hyaluronic acid to fillers: the secrets to flawless lips

June 28, 2024 Linda Ksurgery MED, Treatments 90
Ksurgery

Regarding aesthetics lip treatments, hyaluronic acid, and fillers are effective solutions for natural and long-lasting results. Hyaluronic acid fillers, such as Opéra II and Opéra III produced by Ksurgery MED, are prized for their viscoelasticity and ability to give volume and definition to the lips while maintaining a harmonious appearance.

Why choose hyaluronic acid fillers?

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in our bodies, known for its ability to retain water and maintain skin hydration. When used as a filler, hyaluronic acid:

  • Hydrates and volumizes: due to its ability to bind water molecules, it makes lips fuller and more hydrated, defines their contours, and smoothes out wrinkles.
  • Natural results: it integrates perfectly into tissues, offering a natural and harmonious result.
  • Safety: being biocompatible, it minimizes the risk of allergic reactions or complications.

Injection Techniques for Perfect Lips

Perfect lips are one of the most common aesthetic desires, but few know the secrets behind the techniques that can transform a smile. Here are some of the most innovative and effective injection techniques.

Diamond Lips by Ksurgery MED collaborator Dr. Croccia

The Diamond Lips technique, created by Dr. Mariagrazia Croccia involves the strategic use of injections that follow a diamond-shaped configuration. The goal is to create full, defined lips, with an even distribution of filler that avoids excess and ensures a natural appearance. This injection technique also allows for greater precision in lip reshaping, thus avoiding the often feared “too full” effect.

Russian lips

Russian Lips are a technique that reshapes the lips to achieve a heart-shaped, Matryoshka-inspired mouth. This methodology involves small injections made along the edge of the vermilion in a direction perpendicular to the upper lip. This procedure allows the Cupid's bow, the natural groove between the nose and mouth, to be accentuated, giving the lips the desired heart shape. This technique allows the upper lip to be lifted and projected in height. The result? Unprepossessing lips with a well-defined contour and a naturally voluminous appearance, are perfect for those who want a sophisticated, fashionable look.

Lip Tenting

The Lip Tenting technique was specially developed for more mature lips. In fact, it allows for redefining shape and volume, as well as smoothing and eliminating wrinkles, giving the lips a visibly younger appearance. Using a series of transverse injections at regular intervals over the entire lip surface fills and plumps the lips. In this case, the hyaluronic acid filler is released during needle retraction through multiple injections, ensuring that volume is restored in strategic areas where it has been lost. This method is ideal for those seeking discreet but effective enhancement, giving the lips a younger, fresher appearance.

Linear Retrograde

Finally, the Linear Retrograde technique outlines the lips with precision and naturalness. Precisely, in this case, hyaluronic acid filler is injected at both the vermilion and dry mucosal levels to allow natural lip remodeling. In the upper part, the injection is performed following the Cupid's bow to the corners of the mouth, while for the lower lip, the injection starts from the center and goes to the outer corners. The Linear Retrograde technique not only gives volume to the lips but also defines their contour, giving them a fuller and more sensual appearance.

In addition to the aesthetic effect, hyaluronic acid filler also helps to restructure the lip tissue from within, improving its hydration and turgidity overall. Choosing the right technique depends on each patient's individual needs and the practitioner's experience.

Dream hands: unique treatments for an unforgettable touch

March 18, 2024 Linda Ksurgery MED, Treatments 89

The often neglected hands are our calling card, a reflection of our social life, and an essential means of expressing affection and relating to others. However, with time, the hands can show the main signs of aging such as wrinkles, dark spots, and loss of elasticity. Fortunately, thanks to advances in aesthetic medicine, you can defeat time and give your hands a young and bright appearance.

But why do hands age?

Advancing age affects all the cells of the human body, but the hands, constantly exposed to external agents (temperature changes, detergents, and mechanical scrubbing…), are particularly susceptible to cellular decay. The skin of the hands is very delicate and over time thins, highlighting blood vessels and bone structure, creating real depressions unexpectedly.

What can be done to rejuvenate the hands?

Hand rejuvenation treatments focus on three main objectives: reducing subcutaneous tissue loss, invigorating skin elasticity, plumping the wrinkles, and eliminating skin spots. These results can be achieved through a combination of exfoliating, regenerating, and restructuring treatments.

Skin exfoliation (peeling) of the hands

An aesthetic medical practice that uses chemicals that intervene on the surface layers of the skin, stimulating the production of new tissue rich in collagen, is chemical peeling, also called skin exfoliation.

Chemical peeling against age spots

Chemical peeling is an effective method against skin spots caused by melanic hyperpigmentation. This treatment offers a rapid depigmenting action, intervening in all stages of melanogenesis, and is particularly effective in reducing skin spots in any season.

Fillers and biostimulation

The fillers, injected into specific areas of the hands, break down the loss of subcutaneous tissue, reducing grooves and restoring firmness and softness of the skin. In addition, they stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin.

Are hand rejuvenation treatments lasting?

Although the treatments offer certain and lasting results, they are not permanent. To maintain the benefits, you need maintenance sessions that will need to be planned with your doctor.

Aesthetic medicine among young people: a growing trend

November 29, 2023 Linda News and novelties, Treatments 87

The demand for aesthetic treatments among young people is increasing, both in Italy and in the rest of the world. This trend is due to several factors, including the increasing attention to social media, which exposes young people to images of idealized beauty, and the increase in attention to psychophysical well-being.

According to official estimates released by Sicpre (Italian Society of Reconstructive-Regenerative and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery), medical and cosmetic surgery treatments have increased by at least 20% in the last year (+67% compared to 2019 and +130% compared to 2020).

A study carried out in 2018 [1] found that 73% of Italian adolescents said they had used aesthetic treatments to correct the most common defects, such as acne, stretch marks, and scars. But there are also increasing requests for treatments to improve the appearance of the face, such as lip fillers and the rhino.

Ethical concerns

At a time when personal image is fundamental and has taken on a central role in everyday life, leading young people to seek solutions to improve it, this increased demand for aesthetic treatments among adolescents raises some ethical concerns, requiring the aesthetic medicine professional to be carefully and consciously assessed.

Psychological and emotional evaluation

The psychological well-being of young people is a key element. It is necessary to thoroughly assess the emotional and psychological state of patients, as well as their motivations.

An effective tool for this purpose is the DAS-59 (Derriford Appearance Scale)[2], which evaluates psychological difficulties and discomfort related to appearance, which consists in subjecting the patient to adequate counseling, divided into several sessions and involving, in some specific cases, even family members. This multidisciplinary approach is necessary considering the complex issues of risk-benefit assessment and decision-making of young patients.

The importance of ethics

From an ethical point of view, aesthetic interventions should not be overly invasive and distortive. Aesthetic medicine treatments should aim to improve the lives of patients, reducing the discomfort related to appearance and improving their psychological balance, favoring social, affective, and work integration.

Psychological and psychopathological aspects

Reflection on psychophysical well-being is of primary importance, especially in an age when appearance is often emphasized in social media. Aesthetic psychological disorders are increasingly common among young people, with a significant impact on their self-esteem and well-being. Therefore, the assessment of the patient's for beauty treatments is essential to ensure their peaceful social interaction.

Conclusion

In conclusion, while the relationship between young people and aesthetic medicine is changing significantly, aesthetic medicine professionals must approach it in a multidisciplinary manner, carefully assessing the motivations of patients and orienting themselves to improve their psychophysical well-being, rather than pursuing unrealistic beauty ideals.
