FIRST Technique: the ten biorevitalizing injections
Revitalization encompasses a set of aesthetic medicine techniques that activate and stimulate certain physiological processes in the skin, resulting in improved aesthetics and function. Biorevitalizing injections are currently a popular choice among Italian patients, who are increasingly turning to them due to the ability to achieve visible results in just a few sessions. Many techniques are associated: today we will explore the innovative FIRST Technique, developed and practiced by Italian surgeon Luisa Cerutti.
What is meant by biorevitalization?
Biorevitalization is a medical-aesthetic treatment that involves the injection of substances designed to restructure the face, restoring tone and elasticity to skin tissue and preventing the signs of aging. The targeted action of biorevitalization gives the face a more relaxed and youthful appearance. While superficial cosmetic treatments can only partially help the skin, biorevitalizing injections can deliver concentrated active ingredients into the deeper layers of the dermis.

The benefits of revitalization
Revitalizing injections allow for the introduction of significant amounts of active ingredients, resulting in a significant number of benefits in just a few sessions. Specifically, microinjections allow for effective treatment of:
- Increasedhydration
- Toning
- Brightness
- Slowing of skin trophism
- Protection from oxidative stress
The most practiced techniques
There are numerous biorevitalization techniques. Although they encompass different areas of action, they all aim to replenish and revitalize the skin, both quantitatively and qualitatively.
MULTI PICKING TECHNIQUE
The micro-wheal technique involves intradermal micro-injections spaced approximately 1-2 cm apart, which create micro-wheals.
Its advantages: It uses reduced doses of active ingredient, doses that diffuse into the tissues underlying the inoculation and persist for a longer time (prolonged effect)
BAP TECHNIQUE
The BAP (BIO AESTHETIC POINTS) Technique is characterized by 5 points that identify 5 anatomically receptive areas of the face with the absence of large vessels and nerve ramifications.
Its advantages: It minimizes risks and allows for excellent diffusion of the product in the malar and submalar area
THE FIRST TECHNIQUE
The FIRST Technique is a biorevitalization treatment conceived and developed by Dr. Luisa Cerutti, an Italian surgeon specializing in aesthetic medicine based in Rome. Thanks to its unique configuration, it is a comprehensive treatment that targets all facial areas—anatomically receptive areas where large blood vessels and nerve branches are absent. Specifically, the name is inspired by the acronym of the terms Full Face, Injection, Regeneration, Skin, and Total.

How does the FIRST technique work?
During a FIRST treatment, the doctor performs ten superficial revitalizing injections (on each side of the face) using a revitalizing facial filler (Discover Opéra REV | Opéra Revitalizing Fillers). Specifically, the injections stimulate muscle tone and skin microcirculation , increasing hydration, radiance, and firmness, and providing a subtle tightening effect.
The action zones: how the points for the ten revitalizing injections
All the areas of the face chosen for the revitalizing injections are characterized by the fact that they are absolutely not dangerous.
